More and more conductive slip rings are applied to the equipment. Therefore, the quality requirements for the conductive slip rings are strict. This depends on the manufacturer's technology you choose. What are the common problems in the application of conductive slip rings?

Common problems with conductive slip rings in use:

1, the signal conductive slip ring interference is too large

The conductive slip ring can be used to transmit power and signal, and the power supply and the signal will cause interference. The interference is divided into internal interference and external interference. For the designer to know the type of signal, special signals must be used for internal and external shielding for special signals. For the conductive slip ring that has been formed, it is found that the signal of the conductive slip ring is disturbed, and the external wire can be shielded by itself. If it is still impossible to solve, the internal structure of the conductive slip ring can only be redesigned.

2, the degree of protection does not match the use environment

A conductive slip ring, usually not specified, with a protection rating of IP54. Some customers do not add additional protection, put it in the place where there is waterproof requirement, so that the inside of the conductive slip ring enters water, causing internal short circuit and causing the conductive slip ring to fail.

3, the circuit design without protection circuit leads to

When the normal conductive slip ring is shipped from the factory, the insulation performance of the product will be tested with a high voltage of 5 times or more. Even in some cases, the conductive slip ring may not be able to meet the requirements and the short circuit will be burned.

4, the conductive slip ring short circuit

When the conductive slip ring is used for a short period of time, the short circuit may occur. The life of the conductive slip ring may be reached, or the conductive slip ring may be overloaded to cause the conductive slip ring to burn off. Generally, if a short circuit is displayed, the new conductive slip ring is caused by a problem of the inner insulating material of the conductive slip ring or a short circuit between the brush wire and the brush wire, and the wire is broken. This must be tested using the exclusion method.

5, the conductive slip ring overload burned

The maximum current allowed by the conductive slip ring is the safe operation current value determined by the combination of the cross-sectional area of the conductive ring, the contact area of the brush, the pressure of the brush and the contact surface, and the rotational speed. Beyond this value, the conductive slip ring may have a slight heat, and the contact surface may be ignited, and even a solder joint may be formed between the brush and the conductive ring. Although the design phase of the conductive slip ring will take into account a certain safety factor, it is recommended that the customer supply the conductive slip ring to the manufacturer according to the maximum current actually used.

6, the conductive slip ring does not turn smoothly

Excluding the problem of assembly of the conductive slip ring and the problem of bearing selection, the cause of such problems is usually that the customer does not propose anti-seismic requirements when selecting the conductive slip ring, and the environment used has strong vibration. The thin-walled bearing in the conductive slip ring is damaged, the plastic spindle is broken, and the like.
